NV Ecofarm - The concept of Agriculture and Adventure is developed by Ms Smita Patil and actively supported by her professional family members. Ms Smita a postgraduate with professional experience in Banking manages the business and is technically supported by her husband, post graduate in Agriculture and Management with more than 25 years of corporate experience
Mr Krishna Jagannath Patil and Mr Vinayak Jagannath Patil, her in laws, Progressive farmers developed this land located at the crest of western Ghats 60 years ago into a modern farm. While developing the farm they, maintained biodiversity and nurtured local species along with the Agriculture plantation. Today one can see their vision as more than 200 year old Banayan tree welcomes the guest at the gate and around 125 grown forest species are identified within the Farm with full botanical description
(Family, species botanical and common names etc.)
Ms Smita was impressed with the progressive approach of the family and decided to develop it into an eco farm which will not only showcase modern agricultural practices but also act as nature learning, and conservation center. It will also provide an opportunity for local community to learn modern agricultural practices and create employment opportunities.
Thus the concept of Sustainable Agriculture and Tourism evolved in consultation with family members, friends and experts. The plan was to identify the existing resource, develop and use it judiciously. Preserve traditional practices at the same time incorporate modern techniques which are less resource intensive, high in productivity and adoptable to local settings and minimum damage to the environment

NV Eco Farm was amazing, especially in the rains. The staff treated us warmly and were very friendly. The food was fresh and tasty, making the experience even better. Highly recommend it for a relaxing and enjoyable trip!

This is truly a place filled with serenity. Enjoyed our dayout at this beautiful property. The owner and the staff were very friendly and really kind. We loved the activities specially the zip line. The buffet lunch was so good and delicious. The pool was very clean. The property is well maintained. This place was just what we needed.

This place is truly incredible. The surroundings are stunning and very pleasant. They have a large area filled with a variety of trees and even have a beekeeping setup. We stayed for a night, and the dormitory was very spacious, easily accommodating 20-25 people. For couples and small groups, there are private huts available. With 3-4 swimming pools, there was plenty of space for everyone, and we had access to the pools all night. The staff were extremely friendly and respected our privacy. The highlight of our stay was the food, which was included in the package. We enjoyed delicious meals, including an authentic Goan fish thali for lunch with fresh fish. The entire area is well maintained and very clean, and they offer various activities like ziplining to enjoy.

Lovely farm with natural beauty. Lots of spice plants to learn from. A natural perennial stream in the farm makes for a refreshing dip in the pools. Besides this, there is a manmade pool for a swim. Rock climbing and Zip line are exciting. But these are on a payment basis.There is a day program consisting of breakfast, lunch and evening tea. Lunch is a buffet type with goan dishes. Tea has lemon grass flavor which is very good. Finally some of the spices are sold in the farm. At times, we can purchase pineapple and papaya when available. Internet not available when you get out of main road but in the farm, wifi is available. Worth a visit.

We had a fantastic time at NV Ecofarm last weekend! Even with our one-year-old in tow, the farm proved to be incredibly child-friendly. From the delicious food to the engaging activities, our experience was nothing short of delightful. Wishing the owners all the success in the world!
