Mahesh Krishna Patil, received the best Agri Entrepreneur Award at the First National Agripreneur's Convention held at Hyderabad. The convention was organised to honour innovative and agri-related business startup, which will also support agri community and provide employment in rural area. The award is instituted by National Insitute of Agricultural Extension Management, MANAGE, Hyderabad, an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmer Welfare Govt. Of India.

Mahesh Patil has developed and implemented concepts of Agro tourism with holistic approach of combining nature, adventure, agriculture, dairy and fisheries under the name NVEcofarm at Dabal, Dharbandora Goa.
